Drīksna pine forest – a recreation place by Lake Driksnis
There is a quiet, magical stop in the middle of the Driksna pine forest. Travellers can refresh themselves in the shade of trees and in the water of Lake Driksnis.
Nature park "Driksnas sils" is one of the few specially protected natural areas in Latvia. The main value of the park is the biotope of the aspen forest - a light pine forest with a characteristic ground cover on the slopes. There is a recreation area at the edge of the forest by the Driksnis lake. There are the boardwalks that overlook the gorgeous forest lake. A gazebo with an area for a bonfire is available, as well as a table with benches and a wild swimming area.
