Druviena Alleys
Several beautiful alleys lead through Druviena, but this section of the Jaunpiebalga – Druviena road seems to be the richest and most picturesque of all, not only in the village, but also in the entire Vidzeme highlands. The alleys are on the list of protected alleys.
1850. Plantation of the family of the Barons Von Wolff. The alley is made of middle-aged and old oaks and individual maples. The alley, like the others, leads to the Druviena Latvian Life Information Center, which you can read more about here, on the "Vidzemēs" website.
A large number of people can visit the place.
The von Wolff noble family was rightfully considered one of the richest. In the 17th-20th centuries, the Wolff family's possessions included 29 manors, castles or manor houses, not including various farm buildings. They were the owners of the manors of Vecgulbene, Litene, Stāmeriena, Kalnamuiža (Kalnienas), Lizums and Druviena.
