Since 2018, alpacas have been living in the hills of Piebalga. A long-cherished dream of a mini-zoo of these friendly animals came true.

At the farm, you can enjoy the beautiful natural landscape and terrain of the Vidzeme highlands and see alpacas and other animals in nature. A barefoot walk along the Path of Life is also offered.

A guided tour of the hostess Ausma Kalniņa is available upon prior application. You can learn more about alpacas, get to know the animals, and take the alpaca for a walk during the tour. Read more about Ausma in the "Human Stories" section.

You can buy high-quality alpaca yarn on the spot, as well as homemade mittens or mittens with a national pattern. Alpaca fertilizer is also available.

The place is suitable for visitors of different ages, especially children. There is also an opportunity to spend time in the small interactive playground.
