More than 10 years ago, Kristīna and Māris Pirktiņi moved to Jaunpiebalga, leaving behind their life and, in the opinion of many people, a successful career in Riga. While Kristina creates white clay decorative dishes and interior items, Māris has built several dome houses. Read more about Māris and Kristīna in the "Human Stories" section.
A variety of white clay products are available. The place has won "Izvēlies Piebalgu!" certificate.
Both the pottery workshop and the dome houses will appeal to visitors of different ages.
Small groups of interested parties can visit the place by applying in advance.
Dome houses are non-standard architecture in Latvia, although such structures have been built for a long time in the world. From the outside, the dome houses look relatively small. However, the dome house is a 120-square meter, substantial family building. They fit perfectly into the surrounding landscape.
