You can see one of the largest herds of goats in Latvia - around 300 goats. The farm is located at the foot of Gaiziņkalns.
A tour of the farm, talks and product tasting are available for guests. If you visit during the day, you will see the show of the family of small pygmy goats. If you visit in the evening, you will see the large goats and the milking parade. There are rumors that the swift farm owner Raimonds Melderis is a close relative of Munchausen. The farm operates a cheese factory, where 7 types of soft cheeses are produced. The most popular of them are cheese balls with garlic "Good morning". Gourmets will also definitely appreciate cheeses with boletus and fenugreek taste. Canned goat meat is also available for sale. Upon prior agreement, tomato soup with goat cheese balls, goat milk ice cream, candies and curd snacks are offered. The product can be purchased on-site.
A visit to the goat farm will delight guests of all ages. Communication with animals is allowed.
The visit is possible in small groups of more than 10 people. Prior communication with the farm is mandatory.
