"Vectūļi" is located in the territory of the Piebalga landscape reserve. Quiet neighboring houses – Jauntūļi, Lejastūļi and Kalnatūļi are situated nearby. There is also a public swimming place on the shore of the Inesis Lake nearby.
The place is suitable for guests of different ages.
The farmstead "Vectūļi" is a cultural monument, whose geographical location, ensemble of buildings, cultural heritage and surrounding natural environment form the value of the farmstead in the architectural and cultural environment of Latvia and in tourism. A farmstead is an integral part of cultural heritage. Its preserved historical buildings provide an insight into the rural environment and culture of Vecpiebalga in the 19th century. The origin of the farmstead "Vectūļi" and the name of the house can be found in the archive documents of the 16th century. However, in the 17th century the name of the house is clearly marked on the map of "Swedish times".
The holiday home has 3 ethnographically furnished bedrooms, a kitchen with a dishwasher and a refrigerator; and 1 bathroom with a shower, a hairdryer and a washing machine. Towels and bed linen can be provided on-site for an additional fee. Guests of the holiday home are welcome to use the sauna.
The buildings were built around 1820. Nowadays, they create a special authentic and ethnographic environment. The farmstead is characterized by the spatial structure of a building from the beginning of the 19th century with the irregular courtyard characteristic of the Vidzeme farmstead. Each building's original construction volume, architectural composition of facades, original building structures and decoration details have been preserved.
