The recreation house is located in a forest by the Dzirnavu lake, it offers a great view of the deer park. Here you can see the deer garden, observe animals, feed animals personally, and take photos with deer. Please apply for a visit in advance.

The owners of "Annas dzirnavas" are Ieva and Atis Jakobiji from Riga. 15 years ago, they were looking for a place to get away from the hustle and bustle of Riga, to be away from people and to find the energy for new work. The original idea was to restore the existing water mill, but they also got involved in deer breeding, because Ieva's parents already own one of the first deer gardens in Latvia - Safari Park "More". Deer have always been close to the family, and with the advice of parents, the "Annas dzirnavas" deer garden was created in 2018. Read more about the Jacobijs family in the "Human Stories" section.
