Rieba river valley in Sprizdani
One of the most hidden places in the entire Vidzeme highlands, the small Rieba river at this point is also one of the most photogenic, especially in the leafy seasons!
Rieba is one of the fastest rivers in Latvia. The drop exceeds 10 m/km in the mountainous part, while in the plain the Rieba bed is regulated. In several places, the Riebas river has a rocky bed that forms rapids, one of them is in Sprīzdāni.
