Lazdiņu kariete – a huge boulder
A unique looking boulder that really resembles an old vehicle!
The stone is located in a scenic location, in a wild area. It may happen that part of the forest landscape has been turned into a clearing.
The place is attractive for different generations.
The boulder got its name from the "Lazdiņas" houses. These were about 100 meters away from the boulder, but more than twenty years ago they were destroyed during land reclamation works.
