This museum was created by private enthusiasts and is still unknown to many. However, the museum is one of the biggest and most valuable surprises that everyone should visit when they come to the Vidzeme highlands!

In 2016, Laila and Guntars Zeiles acquired the premises of the former sawmill. These were two huge hangars. Thanks to the passion of both owners for collecting old things, an ambitious museum has been created in the large premises. The museum contains work and household items from the end of the 19th century to the very recent past. There you can find a dowry chest, a butter dish or a hand drill for a Zhiguli, mobile phones and a collection of sound records. The museum also has a large library, the oldest copies of which are from the 19th century. The exposition is constantly updated.
