It is a unique place both for the Vidzeme highlands and for Latvia. The Cinema Farm is an unexpected surprise on the side of a country road, which offers a glimpse into the history of world and Latvian cinematography – literally and figuratively!

In Vecpiebalga "Cinema farm" you can not only watch movies on authentic tapes and projectors, but also get acquainted with the history of Latvian cinema and cameras. Aldis Slishans is the owner of the place, and he has created a collection where the number of items has still not been counted. Read more about Andris in the "Human Stories" section.
The place is suitable for visitors of different ages but is ideal for families with children.
The place is suitable for large group visits. A cinema with up to 50 seats is available.
The private collection of old cinema items includes projectors, cameras, films and other exhibits related to the cinematography industry from the last century. A 1.5-hour long, exciting tour is available, where you will get to know the history of the moving image accompanied by a collector, as well as see and hold in your hands the technique of film shooting.
The Cinema Farm can also be reserved for private events.
