The owner Ilze Mailīte has been creating fabrics woven with hand looms for the fourth generation. Workshops are available in the factory. You can see and try out how 12 different types of hand-operated looms work, which are used in the territory of Latvia, from the 9th century (vertical weaving floors) to the 21st century (programmable looms). You can also take a look at what wool from 10 different breeds of sheep grown in Latvia looks like and what can be made from it. Read more about Ilze in the "Human Stories" section.
