The origins of the Zalgauska (Selgowsky) manor date back to around 1780, and it experienced its heyday when the Baltic German nobles lived here. When the baron times passed, the Zelgauska manor was reborn as a local cultural center. The house once housed: Grostona rural territory Board, the Forest Industry Board, a furnished cultural center, library and workers' apartments. The building was lonely and abandoned for about ten years in the recent past.
The accommodation is furnished in an ancient noble style, 10 places are available, it is possible to order breakfast, lunch or dinner. Guests have at their disposal a telescope for observing the moon and stars, a boat, a swimming area and a pond for fishing, bicycles (2 bikes) and a country sauna.
The building of the manor (castle, granary, warehouse) is a monument of local cultural history.
