Graši is a land of oaks too, which once counted as many as 28 giant trees. Giant oaks can still be seen in the area, the largest of them are older than the building of the manor. There is an old road in the direction of Kraukli when leaving Graši Castle. It leads to the small graves of the Kāleni family with an alley of 12 pairs of oak trees on them. The owner of Grašu manor rests there, and his grave can still be found today.

The castle building of the Grašu manor is located in the very center of Vidzeme, in the Cesvaine neighborhood. It was built in 1784 in the classicist style and was originally a one-story building. The foundation of Graši as a settlement is the construction of lord Graši house. The history of the Graši manor for 101 years (from 1819 to 1920) is connected with the name of von Kahlen. In 1852, a 2nd floor and a porch were built for it, and a portico with four columns was created in its central part. The other buildings of the manor were built around the yard. The manager's house was built on the side of the ravine. Further on there was a stable with a barn, on the second floor of which the servants lived. Behind the stable there was a greenhouse, the ruins of which have been preserved. There is the servant's house opposite the manager's house, and the barn is beyond it. The reconstruction of the manor began in 1993, so that a private children's home "Grašu children's village" could start work there.
